NORTHERN CASS SCHOOL DISTRICT ANNOUNCESINTERESTED CITIZENS TO FILL A SCHOOL BOARD VACANCY

1. Interested citizens must reside within the Northern Cass School District and

reside specifically within the Area #6 (City of Argusville, Berlin Township,

Gardner Township Sec. 19-36, Harwood Township, Wiser Township Sec. 19-36).

2. The business office will begin accepting letters of application on Wednesday,

November 12, 2025, from interested citizens until 4:00 p.m. on December 5,

2025. The applications can be found on the Northern Cass School website and

should include at a minimum, responses to the following questions:

a. Why are you interested in serving on the Northern Cass School Board?

b. What qualities do you believe qualify you to serve in this important role?

c. What do you view as the most important work for the board in the

coming months and years?

3. The Board will meet the nominees during the board meeting on December 8,

2025.

a. Nominees will be allowed three minutes to state their interest in serving

as a Northern Cass School Board member.

b. Board members will have the opportunity to ask questions.

c. The board will vote to appoint a nominee to fill the position until the June

2026 annual school board election.

d. The nominee must receive a majority of the votes cast.
