Full Time Special Education Educator

Northern Cass Public School District is seeking a full-time special education teacher. The qualified applicant will work with learners who are in need of special education services as well as providing intervention for Tier III learners.

Applicants must have a bachelor's degree and hold a valid teacher's license in the appropriate field. However, the district, in coordination with the Rural Cass Special Education Unit, will provide funding for obtaining the necessary certification and/or degree. Northern Cass is a progressive Class 'B' school with approximately 700 learners in PK-12 located just north of Fargo. Full Time Middle School Educator

Northern Cass Public School District is seeking a full-time educator for the 2024-25 year and beyond. The applicant will teach three periods of middle school math and provide intervention for learners on an individual or small group basis. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree and hold a valid teacher's license which can either be K-8 or 7-12 certified (in math).

Assistant Director of Food Services

Qualifications
The Assistant Director of Food Services must have prior work experience with large quantity food preparation and supervisory duties. The candidate must possess a high degree of knowledge regarding proper food preparation, sanitation, and safety procedures as related to a food service operation. The candidate must be able to work under pressure and be able to make good decisions while being able to direct others to carry out duties assigned. The candidate must be able to work cooperatively with fellow employees. The candidate must enjoy working with learners and others.

Function
The terms of employment will be for the period of the school term. The assistant will be under the direct supervision of the Director of Food Services. Benefits will be established annually for the health insurance, retirement, and leave time.

Major duties assigned, but not limited to:

Secure substitute personnel for regular employees as needed.
Schedule and direct learner food service workers as needed.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety for the kitchen staff in food preparation.
Check in food and supplies received, provide proper storage, and account for invoices and inventory. Place food in proper rotation on the shelf.
Direct clean-up of kitchen and equipment.
Participate in state-sponsored workshops.
Work with administration in developing new methods of food preparation, efficiencies in service, economics, etc.
Must be able to lift and carry up to fifty pounds

Custodial Position

This position will report to the Superintendent and Activities Director. The qualifications for this position are established by the Board of Education. Qualified applicants should possess the skills of accountability, adaptability, communication, leadership and a learners mindset. In addition, qualified applicants should have a strong work ethic, be willing to collaborate, and work independently.

This position will provide learners with a safe, comfortable, and clean place in which to learn. This employee will be available in the building at school events held after normal school hours. This includes, but is not limited to, athletics, music concerts, conferences, and meetings.

Major Duties:
*Abide by the work schedule.
*Suggest changes for improvement of the school facility.
*Know the type and amount of supplies to use as well as the correct methods of using them.
*Inform the Director of Building Operations when supplies are needed to order.
*Clean designated areas as assigned.
*Turn off the lights and secure doors after everyone has left the building or other arrangements have been made.
*Report any unusually messy areas to the Superintendent.
*Assist in maintaining a safe school.
*Provide proper care of building, sites, furniture and various kinds of equipment, supplies, and instruction materials.
*Bring complaints, problems, and questions to the attention of the administration.*Adhere to school policies and procedures.
